I'm considering whether I should buy the Stubby 1/2" impact wrench. I already own the 3/8" version, along with a complete set of 1/2" sockets and the high-torque 1/2" impact. Do I really need the stubby model? Also, has anyone found a better deal on the stubby than what's currently available?

Yeah, I'm curious too. What kind of deal are you seeing? A link would be super helpful!
I think it might not be necessary to get the Stubby 1/2" if you already have the 3/8" stubby, unless you're using it for a lot of repetitive tasks where you need to keep the sockets on the tools. You might be better off investing in something else, like a new ratchet or another power tool that suits your needs better.
Honestly, I don't see the point of getting the Stubby 1/2" impact wrench unless you’re really specialized. You might want to consider upgrading to a better ratchet or even looking into the right-angle impact wrench or an electric impact driver instead.
