Is the 1/2″ M12 Stubby Impact Wrench Worth It for Car Work?

I'm considering buying the 1/2" M12 Stubby Impact Wrench, but I want to hear from real users about their experiences. I find the torque specs of 550 and 750 a bit dubious, but tests indicate it performs well with high-output batteries. I plan to use it for some serious car work involving wheels, brakes, and suspension, dealing with stubborn and rusty nuts and bolts. Any insights?

For car wheels and suspension work, I'd personally recommend going with the M18 line. The M12 is decent for smaller tasks but not as powerful when it comes to breaking free stubborn bolts.

Totally agree! I've found the mid-torque M18 really packs a punch when you're dealing with tough nuts and bolts. It's just more reliable for heavy-duty tasks.

I've got both the 3/8" and 1/2" models, and it's amazing how much power they've packed into such a compact tool. Definitely worth considering!

If you're using the high-output 5.0 battery, you're going to get the best performance out of this impact wrench. It really makes a difference!

While those torque figures sound exaggerated, I believe it's the best compact impact wrench on the market. Just remember to pair it with a high-output 5.0 battery to unlock its full potential!
