Hey everyone! I'm considering buying the 18v Fuel multi-tool, but I noticed it's priced at $229 while the non-fuel version is only $129. I already own several Fuel tools, so I'm curious whether that extra $100 investment is really worth it for just this tool. Has anyone compared them or have any insights on performance and value?

Absolutely, many folks say the Fuel version is worth the splurge! It’s generally quieter, has smoother operation, and cuts more efficiently. Plus, it manages battery usage a lot better, so it can be a game changer if you’re using it regularly.
I noticed the reduced vibrations with the Fuel model, which makes a huge difference for detailing work. It's way easier on your hands compared to the non-fuel version! If you can afford it and are going to use it a lot, I'd say go for the Fuel.
I own the non-fuel version, and honestly, it has served me well for 3-4 years for basic tasks like drywall and some woodwork. The performance is good enough for occasional projects, but if you push it, it can get warm. If it's just for light use, you might not need the extra power of the Fuel. But yeah, the Fuel is definitely superior, especially for more intensive work. It really depends on how often you plan to use it!
