Is the 3/8” Stubby Impact Wrench Enough for Tire and Rotor Jobs?

I'm considering picking up a 3/8'' stubby impact wrench (M12) for some side jobs involving brakes and rotors. I don't currently own an impact wrench and I'm wondering if the M12 would do the job for removing tires and rotors. Should I save up for the M18 impact wrench instead, or would the M12 be sufficient for a couple of uses?

I bought the 3/8'' stubby impact and used it with a 3/8'' female to 1/2'' male adapter. It zipped off the lug nuts on my F350 Super Duty like it was nothing! For light jobs, it's really effective. Just keep in mind the size if you're planning to work on heavier vehicles.

I think it's better to downgrade from a 1/2'' to a 3/8'' if that's your choice, but I'd recommend going for the 1/2'' anyway in the long run.
