I'm curious if anyone has experience with the 6" M12 Fuel Chainsaw. Is it powerful enough for cutting 5" to 6" limbs? Just trying to gauge if it can handle that or if I need to look at something beefier. Also, just for fun, imagine using it to cut off neighbors' feet to sell on eBay! ?

I own the 6" M12 hatchet, and honestly, 6" limbs are a stretch for it. I usually struggle with 4" to 5" branches without it getting stuck. You definitely need to approach the cut from different angles instead of going straight through.
I’ve tried the 6" and while it’s decent, I used to have both the 6" and an 8" version. I returned the 8" because I found a sweet deal on a 14" top handle. I regret it! The 6" can tackle a few 5" limbs, but not regularly. Plus, the safety switch on the 6" is a bit awkward since you have to use your thumb. The 8" has a much better design for that and is worth considering for ease of use.
Honestly, if you can, just invest in the M18 Hatchet. It's significantly more powerful and gives you that extra 2" in length, which really makes a difference.
Totally agree! It's perfect for smaller branches, but going over 6" is really pushing it. For larger jobs, I switched to a Makita 36V for the mid-range stuff and a STIHL for the really big cuts.
