I'm considering buying the DCF787 impact driver for $130 CAD, which includes a 2.0 battery and charger. I'm looking for an impact driver mainly for home use and light construction projects. I already have an Atomic drill, an XR multi-tool, and a flashlight. Are there any other tools that would be useful alongside this setup?

If you're considering it, I personally prefer the DCF887 model over the DCF787. It's usually available for around $149 at Federated Tools here in Ontario, and you might even get Home Depot to price match at about $134.10! It just offers a bit more punch for the same price you're looking at.
I’d recommend skipping the DCF787. At the same price, you could get the DCF840 with a battery included, and it's a much better choice. The 887 has a power mode switch for better control, while the 840 is simpler but still very effective. Just be mindful of your trigger control; you don't want to overdrive screws!

Totally agree! Trigger control is everything. I learned the hard way using my 860 for the first time; I drove a screw right through a fence board! Haha, lesson learned!
