I'm looking for opinions on the Dewalt 20V leaf blower. Is it effective for regular yard work, or is it more suited for smaller jobs like cleaning up a patio or driveway? Any experiences would be great!

I had my eye on a combo trimmer/blower set for $249 at Home Depot after my eBay deal fell through. I've been using a Stihl 2-cycle trimmer and blower but want to switch to battery power. I’ve heard good things about the Dewalt 20V line. Just need to decide if that 60V model is worth the extra cash.
I've got the smaller model, and I use it all the time for quick clean-ups in my shop and to dust off surfaces. It does a solid job for those tasks. For leaves, it can handle some light jobs like clearing a deck or sidewalk, but don’t expect it to clear your entire lawn.
If you're considering the XR model, it’s definitely worth it. The basic model isn't as great, though. I can't comment on the flexvolt version since I haven’t tried it.
That's exactly what I need it for! Just clearing a little area in the backyard.
