I've never encountered this much frost in a mini fridge before. Since my regular fridge broke and was causing unsafe temperature spikes (up to the 50s), I had to get a mini fridge from my apartment management after a lot of back and forth. This is what it currently looks like (see attached image). Is the amount of frost I'm seeing normal? And since I have two thermometers showing safe temperatures, is the food still safe to eat? I found conflicting info online, so I'd really appreciate your insights! Thanks!

From my experience, mini fridges often struggle with temperature regulation, which can lead to frost accumulation. I used to keep all sorts of snacks in mine without getting sick! As long as your thermometers are reading safe, you’re probably in the clear. Just remember to keep an eye on cooked foods; if you're unsure about the chicken, maybe check it for any weird smells or signs before eating!
