Hey everyone! I've recently switched gears to the M12 tool line after using my old high torque M18 for a while. I just picked up an M12 drill and impact driver kit, and I'm curious if getting the M12 3/8 stubby impact tool is a good idea for working on my car at home. I've heard it might be strong enough to handle lug nuts and might be compact enough for tight spaces when doing brake jobs. How has your experience been with the stubby? Also, should I go for the 3/8 or the 1/2 inch version for any specific reasons? Would love to hear your thoughts!

The 3/8 stubby really delivers when paired with a 5.0 battery! I got lucky and snagged three 5.0s recently, and now I totally justify having the impact. Just last week I didn’t have any M12 tools, but now I'm all in! Haha!
I've got the M12 3/8 stubby and it's super impressive! It doesn’t lack power at all, and since my sockets are mostly 3/8, it works perfectly for me. Even when I use an adapter for lug nuts, it still tears them off quickly. I'm really impressed with its performance; it might just be the best-selling power tool lately! Just keep in mind the size of sockets you already own before making the switch.
I used to rely on my old 2767 high torque, but I haven’t touched it since I got the 3/8 stubby. I can’t believe how often I use the stubby now! Even without the high output batteries, it’s a beast with the regular ones. If you've got the high torque, I’d definitely say grabbing the M12 stubby is a smart move for most tasks. Highly recommend it!
