Hey everyone! I'm considering buying the M12 caulking gun for some basic caulking jobs around the house and on the siding. I've heard mixed opinions, and I'd love to get your thoughts on the pros and cons of using this tool, especially since the M18 seems like an overkill for my needs. Thanks for any insights! And yes, I really do love caulk!

I've used the M12 for a bathroom remodel and I actually liked it overall. It might feel a bit excessive if you're just doing small areas, but it really shines when laying long beads, especially for tasks like corner caulking or ceiling seams. If you're planning to use it on siding, it’s a solid choice too. Just be prepared to get the hang of the auto back off feature; it takes a little adjusting, but once you do, it’s pretty useful!
In my opinion, the M12 is too much for typical household caulking. It's excellent for applying adhesives but can be tricky if you're not familiar with using a caulking gun. If you're just starting out, it might complicate things more than it helps. But hey, it does save your wrist if you’re doing a lot of work!
Honestly, I think the M12 might be overkill for standard home projects. If you're just caulking your bathroom, a regular manual caulking gun would be a better fit. The M12 is really more suited for larger jobs and working with adhesives.
