I'm looking at the M12 Fuel Cut Off Tool, which is part of a promotional deal where I can get it for about $83. Is this a decent price? I'm mostly planning to use it for some finishing work like wood paneling and molding. Will this tool be useful for those tasks? How well does it handle cutting wood? Any advice would be appreciated!

$83 is a solid price for the cut-off tool; it probably won't get much cheaper than that. It’s versatile, sitting between a circular saw and a dremel; you can use it for various tasks, but if you have other tools, you might not find it essential. I love it for cutting small metal pieces and plexiglass! It feels good to use and isn’t too intimidating. If you find it handy for your projects, then go for it!
This tool is fantastic for metal work! I used it for installing a vent fan in my shop and it performed beautifully. However, I wouldn't recommend it for woodworking; you might not get the best results there.
I've used both versions of the cut-off tool, and I personally prefer the first generation a bit more. But honestly, both do what they’re supposed to do! If you're doing light work, it might be just fine for you.
