Is the M12 Impact Driver Worth It for Furniture Installation?

I'm currently working as a furniture installer, where I often need to fasten and remove around 5 to 20 screws and 2 to 10 bolts in just a few minutes. After that, the tool sits idle for about 10 to 20 minutes. I'm using a 20v brushless drill driver right now, but it's struggling to drive metal fasteners into pre-drilled metal frames, which has been a real hassle. I'm considering getting the standard M12 impact driver, but I'm torn about whether to splurge on the Fuel line instead. Money is tight, so I'm leaning towards the more budget-friendly option. Also, weight is a concern for me due to arthritis in my elbows.

When I was delivering and installing furniture, we all used M12 tools because they’re compact and powerful enough for the job. A decent battery can last all day, which is a huge plus.

The M12 Surge is perfect for quieter jobs like HVAC work, and it's compact enough for easy transport. If you’re doing furniture installation, I suggest considering the install driver, too. It has enough power without being too heavy.

That's a great point! Plus, it's way quieter than regular impact drivers, which can be a big deal in occupied spaces.

I'd definitely recommend the M12 installation driver. Trust me, once you use it, you'll see why so many of us love it!

Good advice! That install driver is really a game changer if you’re sticking to the M12 line.
