Is the M12 Polisher/Sander Worth the Money?

I'm considering buying the M12 Polisher/Sander (model 2438-22X) for waxing my cars. It seems a bit pricey for a cordless buffer, and I'm curious if anyone here has used it. Is it any good, or is there a better option at this price point?

Good question about using a drill! Polishers are designed to move in a random orbit to prevent swirl marks, while a drill will only rotate in one direction. If you're not looking for professional results, a dual-action polisher might be the way to go, but they can be pricey. Just be cautious with a grinder; it could be too powerful and might not provide the subtle control you need for your car.

This polisher is convenient for small touch-ups, and it's super easy to use. Just keep in mind that it may drain batteries quickly if you're taking on bigger jobs.

I've found the M12 Polisher great for buffing small areas and headlights. It's really handy, but if you're planning to polish an entire car, you might want to go for a corded option instead.
