I'm curious whether the M18 Mid Torque impact wrench is a solid choice for general automotive work. I want to find out if it's really worth the investment and if it can handle typical tasks I'm likely to encounter.

Mid torque is great if you're planning to have just one driver. But since you've got the stubby too, it might be a good idea to combine them and consider getting the high torque. You'll cover more ground that way!
From my experience, the mid torque handles just about everything I throw at it. Even my buddy, who's a master mechanic at a dealership, was impressed with its performance! It's done the job for all my DIY needs.
Absolutely! My older mid torque has managed most tasks without a hitch. I use it along with the M12 stubby for nearly everything. I've got the high torque too, but I hardly need it. You might want to consider investing in the M12 series as well if you haven't already!

That's reassuring! Just curious, have you ever had it struggle with anything? It'd be good to know its limits.
