Is the Pecron 2000 with 2 Batteries a Good Choice for My Garage?

I'm thinking about getting a Pecron 2000 power station paired with 2 batteries to set up in my garage. My goal is to power a dehumidifier to manage moisture levels in my uninsulated 2+ car garage and protect my treadmill from the humidity here in Long Island. With 8kw of battery capacity and 2000w of output, I believe this should be enough for the dehumidifier and some other small devices I have in mind. However, I'm trying to figure out how many solar panels I'd need on the roof for this setup. What do you all think? Is this a good idea?

You might want to consider using an AC unit with a dehumidifier mode instead of just a plain dehumidifier. Regular dehumidifiers can actually heat up your garage quite a bit, which isn't ideal for comfort. But yeah, if you're set on using the Pecron 2000, check how much power your dehumidifier needs to run efficiently on that setup!

That’s a good point! I hadn’t thought about the heating effect. I’ll look into that—thanks!
