Is There a Price Guide for DeWalt Batteries?

I'm looking for a comprehensive chart that displays the market prices for different DeWalt batteries. It would be super helpful to have this information on hand, especially when I'm considering various bundles. This way, I can quickly evaluate the actual costs of the tools versus the battery prices. Has anyone created such a list?

Unfortunately, I don’t think a stable price list can be maintained due to sales and discounts changing constantly. The regular and FlexVolt batteries have seen some price consistency, but with PS and PP being included in more kits, prices might fluctuate. If you're looking for a good deal, focus on the average cost of the tools and batteries in bundles rather than trying to track every price. For instance, I got my DCS367 along with a 5Ah PS battery for only $212! That's less than what you'd typically pay for the battery separately.

Totally! Bundles can really shake things up. The latest discounts make it tough to keep a solid list.

Absolutely, and it’s all about knowing what a good deal looks like based on the average prices!

Creating a chart sounds like a good idea! As a general rule, regular batteries usually run about $10 per amp hour (Ah). For the newer PowerStack (PS) and PowerPort (PP) batteries, the prices can vary since they haven't fully stabilized yet. For example, the 5Ah PS and 8Ah PP tend to be around $100, while the 1.7Ah PS is about $45. The emerging 3.5Ah PS was priced at about $75 for a two-pack, and the 4Ah PP prices are still unknown. FlexVolt batteries are closer to $13 per Ah for a solid deal. Just keep an eye on the prices!

Sorry if this is a silly question, but what do PS and PP stand for?

I snagged a 2-pack of the 1.7 Ah PS from Home Depot for just $56! They work great in my drill and impact driver.
