Is There a Way to Check if My Milwaukee M18 Battery Has Been Tampered With?

I'm curious if there's a reliable method to determine if the internals of my Milwaukee M18 battery have been swapped out. A few of my batteries have stopped working, and I suspect a coworker who isn't exactly trustworthy might have switched the insides with theirs. I'm not looking for vague signs; I want something definite like a serial number or date stamp, specifically for when the entire inside of my battery has been replaced with parts from another Milwaukee battery. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

You can press the battery level button to see a code, which might help you identify its age. Unfortunately, there aren't any serial numbers inside the battery to match the internals specifically, so that's about your best bet to check for anything unusual.

I get where you're coming from, but seriously, think about it. Your coworker would have gone through some crazy lengths just to swap out the battery's insides? I mean, yeah, maybe they could've swapped the whole battery instead, which seems a lot simpler. It's a bit paranoid to think someone would actually do that just to mess with you. Try not to stress too much over it!
