Is This 20V Max 3Ah Battery Deal Worth It?

Hey everyone! I'm considering picking up a 20V MAX 3Ah battery since I only have a 1.5Ah one and it's been a hassle to switch mid-project. I found this deal online, which seems decent, but I'm curious about what you all think. Is it a smart buy at this price? You’re looking at about $13 per Ah, which isn’t the worst but definitely not the best. If you really need more power for your projects, there are better options out there, like the DCB230s or DCB240s that might cost a bit more but offer more capacity.

Totally agree! The 21700 batteries are a game changer. Although pricier, they pack way more punch and last longer.

The 3Ah DCB200 battery has been around for a while, so while it's not a bad price, it's also not a standout deal. Just keep in mind it's basically the same casing as the 4Ah and 5Ah versions. If you need it, I guess it's okay!

I’d skip this deal honestly. The 3Ah double stack batteries aren’t the greatest. There's a Bomgaars nearby that has 5Ah batteries for $20 after rebates, which is a much better deal! You could also check out their member sale for better savings on tools.

Good tip about the membership deal! That could really change the game for some buyers.
