Hey everyone! I'm considering buying a pressure washer and noticed a significant price difference between two models with similar specs. The Westinghouse 2500 PSI model is much cheaper than the RYOBI 2500 PSI model, even though they have comparable GPM and PSI ratings. Could someone explain why the Westinghouse is so much less expensive? Is it just because of lower-quality materials like plastic casing? Here are the links to both products: [Westinghouse](https://www.homedepot.com/p/Westinghouse-2500-PSI-1-76-GPM-Electric-Powered-Pressure-Washer-with-Anti-Tipping-Technology-and-5-Quick-Connect-Tips-ePX3500/324920714) and [RYOBI](https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-2500-PSI-1-2-GPM-High-Performance-Cold-Water-Electric-Pressure-Washer-RY142500/327680926).

I'm team RYOBI all the way! Super reliable and gets the job done.
On paper, the Westinghouse looks better with its 1.76 GPM rating, plus it has great reviews and costs half as much. I think the price difference comes down to brand recognition—RYOBI is a known name. If the specs are similar, the Westinghouse is likely the better deal here!
I've had the RYOBI pressure washer for several years now, and it's been awesome for cleaning everything from driveways to cars. It does the job well, but I've sometimes wished for more power, which would mean upgrading to a gas model—more hassle with maintenance. I can't speak for the Westinghouse, but I'd definitely recommend the RYOBI for its reliability.
