Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to the solar power scene and I've been checking out Eco-Worthy as a budget-friendly brand. They seem to offer about 80%-90% of the performance of pricier brands at just half the cost, which is pretty cool! But I stumbled upon a listing on eBay directly from Eco-Worthy for a 5kWh battery and a 5kW inverter for only $1099, and it seems almost too good to be true. What do you think?

Awesome find! Just make sure you double-check the inverter model. It doesn't seem to be the same SRNE 5000 watt inverter Eco-Worthy has been offering recently.
I totally get your concern. eBay can be a bit sketchy with sellers, and there are counterfeit inverters out there. I had my eye on a SOL-ark for a great price, but then I discovered it was shipping from China and the seller had questionable ratings. Just keep an eye out for potential scams when browsing!
Eco-Worthy's been doing well lately! Their batteries are UL certified, which is a plus. However, the inverter is not UL certified, so it might not be the best option for sensitive or high-draw devices. If you're looking to power a shed with basic appliances or a low-wattage mini split, it could be a decent deal, though!
Be cautious! Many inverters on eBay are often rebranded from other major brands, like SRNE. I suggest looking into the SRNE HYP clone for better compatibility if you want to run split phase with two inverters. Honestly, this isn’t even their best deal! I paid around $1199 for a combo with a 5000 watt SRNE HYP rebrand and a V3 battery. Plus, their customer support is great, and they frequently offer solid eBay deals.

Thanks for the insight! I've been looking into this tech for a while and it's amazing how much more affordable it's becoming.
