Is This Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit Really on Sale in Canada?

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a good oscillating multi-tool since I keep borrowing one for my renovations. I found a DCS356 kit priced at 179 dollars (before tax), which claims to be on sale. However, I noticed some other retailers like Home Depot list it at the regular price, while a few places still show it as 299. So I'm a bit confused— is this actually a sale or just the new pricing? I'm based in Canada and I'm willing to wait if needed. Thanks for any help!

It's an okay price, but not amazing. The 356 bare tool is priced at $99 right now at Summit Tools, which is pretty good if you're in BC. I’d keep an eye out for better deals, especially considering all the tariffs affecting pricing lately.

I'd suggest waiting a bit! Home Depot has a Black Friday sale coming up in just a couple days, and you might land a better deal then. This price is decent, but be cautious about the 2Ah battery—it doesn’t last long. If you already own a DeWalt battery, you could probably skip the one that comes with this set.

Is that Home Depot's Canadian site too?

Black Friday in April? That's interesting!

From what I've seen, this doesn't seem like much of a sale. Home Depot currently has it for $169 USD, and I remember snagging mine for around $130. That supposed regular price of $300? It feels like a marketing tactic, kind of like what Amazon does to make sales look better.
