Hey everyone! I'm considering purchasing a used set of drills and batteries, and I could really use your advice. The seller is offering the DCF885 and DCD771 models along with three batteries and a charger for $80. They mentioned that the tools are about 4 to 5 years old but were barely used since they belonged to her son. She says the batteries have been stored indoors and everything works properly. Should I go for it, or is it better to wait for a sale on something new? Thanks for your input!

That’s a common drill package you can buy new for around $140, which usually only comes with two batteries. If the used ones look in good shape and aren’t heavily used, it could be a decent deal at $80. Just make sure to check the batteries’ condition.
Honestly, I’d recommend holding out for a new set if you can. For me, the peace of mind that comes with a brand new product is worth it, even if it costs a bit more. With used items, you never know about the condition or if they might be stolen. Just my two cents!
Definitely help - thanks!

Thanks!
