Hey folks! I'm located in East Central Scotland and I run a small dog bathing business with my 8 dogs and a bunch of others I work with. A big part of my job involves cleaning up muddy pups before they head home, which can be a total slog, leaving me wet and exhausted. But this year has been surprisingly great weather-wise! The harsh winters I dreaded haven't happened, and the muddy days in April seemed to skip me this time. I feel like I'm washing dogs way less than usual—like a massive 90% reduction in the muck! Is my perception way off, or is it actually weird how dry it's been?

Looking at the stats, it’s indeed been a dry winter aside from December, with Scotland having its unique ups and downs. If you want more detailed info, check out the local weather charts online! Just keep in mind last year had that crazy wet August, so it's all about perspective.
I wouldn't worry too much! This dry spell is becoming more common, with droughts and wildfires lurking around. It's just part of adapting to changing conditions. Just roll with it!
True, but it's wild to think about how hot it started in May!
I totally feel you! Managing a household with 8 dogs, this weather has been a dream. They’re cleaner and well-exercised, getting to enjoy our garden all day long! I almost forgot about last winter’s chaos—it seems surreal now. 😂
