Is Upgrading from a Battery-Powered Table Saw to a Corded One Worth It?

I'm thinking about upgrading from my current 36v Hikoki table saw to a used JET contractor saw from 1995 (model JWTS 10JF). The JET is corded, 1.5hp, and runs on 240v, which feels like a big step up from my current 1500w battery setup. I remember my previous JET saw from the 2000s being powerful and enjoyable to use. So, my question is whether this switch would be a significant improvement in terms of power and precision compared to what I'm using now. I appreciate any insights!

Upgrading from a battery-powered saw to a corded one like the JET is a huge leap! It’s honestly like moving from a scooter to a Lamborghini. You'll definitely notice the extra power, which will make your cuts more precise and easier to manage. Trust me, it's going to feel like a whole new world!
