I'm planning to DIY install a solar setup with around 13kWp of panels and 25kWh of LFP batteries. Initially, I considered going with Victron, specifically getting three Multiplus II 5000/48 inverters and one MPPT 450/200 charge controller. However, this setup costs around €4300 just for the inverters and MPPTs, which is nearly double the price of alternatives like Deye, Growatt, or Goodwe. I'm looking for insights on the tangible benefits of Victron that could justify this price difference.

Sure, Victron products are good, but they’re overpriced in my opinion. You're paying for that quality, but for some, it might not be justified, especially when there are cheaper options that can get the job done just as well.
I've had experience with both Victron and some cheaper Chinese all-in-one systems. Let me tell you, the quality of the Victron is noticeably superior. Even the materials feel better, and the Victron inverter operates quietly compared to the noisy alternatives that sound like an airport nearby.
When it comes to inverter durability, there's a lot to consider, especially between low and high-frequency units. If you want something that lasts 20 years or more, Victron offers better reliability. Plus, they have solid support and systems that work great with generators. Just be mindful of your area's policies on installation size, as they can impact your setup.
