Hey everyone! I'm having a bit of a struggle with registering my tools. When I scan the QR code on one of my tools, it says it's registered to my account. However, when I check my account, the tool doesn't actually show up there. It's only when I manually type in the details that it appears. I need to get a battery serviced soon and wanted to register all my tools at once, but entering everything manually is quite tedious. I've heard about a Site Manager app, but I'm just a DIY enthusiast with a bit of a Dewalt obsession. Any advice would be really appreciated!

I totally get where you're coming from! The QR code registration is just for the Site Manager app and doesn’t link to your DeWalt account on their website for warranty stuff. I usually register my tools on both; the website is great for keeping track of warranty and insurance, while the Site Manager app is super handy for quick access to my tool list without logging in. Hope that helps!
Be careful with the Site Manager! From what I remember, it doesn’t actually register tools on the DeWalt website, just in the app itself. You really don’t need to register for warranty support. If you have the original receipt and your battery is within the three-year window, DeWalt is usually pretty good about sending out replacements, even without a receipt. I still register everything on their site for inventory purposes, even though it can be a pain.
