I'm in the process of having new vinyl siding put on my home in Wisconsin this summer, and I'm really looking for exterior window trims that require no maintenance at all—meaning no painting, peeling, rotting, or fading. I'd love to find some that come in various shapes, designs, and colors. So far, I've only discovered one company in Canada, but their customer service has been disappointing. Is there really no one out there that makes truly maintenance-free options?

You can find plenty of PVC trim at big box stores, but most of it only comes in white. If that's acceptable for you, it's a solid option! But if you need different colors or sizes for a larger house, you might be out of luck. Good luck with your search!
Check out PALight or Versatek. There are several good options available. They usually come in white, but I've also come across black ones. Just make sure the installer uses glue for the joints and the hidden plug screws to keep everything neat!
There's definitely options like PVC, fiber cement, and Boral. Most of these materials require virtually no maintenance, apart from painting every few decades. So, keep that in mind!
I appreciate the tip! But I'm specifically looking for larger trims, not just those smaller interior sizes. I really need something that fits well on the exterior of my house.
