Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a DIY cream recipe that can hold its shape beautifully when piped and can stick to various materials like wood, plastic, and metal. Unfortunately, my previous attempts with an air-dry foam clay mixed with white school glue left me with a brittle finish after it dried, and I'm seeking something tougher. Also, I'm currently using lightweight spackle, but it's a bit pricey and tricky to pipe perfectly. Any recommendations? Thanks a bunch! xoxo

If you're looking for something durable, many people in the baking world use royal icing for display cakes because it dries really hard. Just remember, it’s not edible, so it's perfect for faux projects! Just pipe it on and let it do its thing!
Lightweight spackle works well for many crafters! You can pipe it like frosting; just keep it wet a bit to add fake sprinkles or other decorations that'll stick. But, if you expect it to take some hits, consider using something like kwik seal or thickened silicone caulk for more flexibility and strength.

Oh, great tip! I need it mainly for decorative faux cake jewelry boxes, so I definitely don't want edible materials involved. Thanks!
