Hey everyone! I'm new to the world of tools and I really want to stick with Milwaukee products. However, I've noticed they don't offer a scroll saw. I'm currently working on intricate designs in large insulation foam boards, and I'd much rather use a scroll saw instead of a jigsaw for that. Is there any Milwaukee tool that goes by a different name that is similar to a scroll saw, or am I just not seeing it? I appreciate any help!

You might want to check out some Milwaukee models like the 2737-20 or 2737B-2; however, they aren't exactly scroll saws. If you need a scroll saw, it’s worth looking into other brands, as Milwaukee kinda drops the ball here in that category. Just remember, certain brands shine with specific tools. For example, Ryobi and Wen make budget-friendly scroll saws that can definitely get the job done for your foam cutting. If you are serious about moving into more complex materials in the future, brands like Dewalt and Delta offer excellent higher-end options for scroll saws. Considering all this, you might find a better tool outside of Milwaukee if a scroll saw is what you're after.
I get your loyalty to Milwaukee! They do have a solid cordless lineup. But keep in mind that quality can vary across brands. Some tools may not perform as great even with a reputable brand like Milwaukee, especially when it comes to larger equipment. For your foam cutting needs, you’re fine going with a budget brand if you’re just starting. Lots of folks have had good experiences with Ryobi and Wen. And if you plan to step up later, investing in quality brands like Dewalt will pay off!
