Looking for a New Table Saw – Thoughts on Delta 36-725?

Hey everyone! I was using my old Skil 3400 table saw, but it totally gave up on me during a project over the weekend. Now, I'm on the hunt for a new saw and hoping to upgrade a bit, ideally around $300. I found a Delta 36-725 listed for $350 on Facebook Marketplace. The seller claims he has all the accessories for it, but I'm a bit worried about the rust on the bed. I'm not sure how well that would clean off. I'm thinking of trying to negotiate down to $300. What do you all think? I'm planning to check it out tomorrow after work. Here's a link to the listing and the photos showing the rust: https://imgur.com/a/1kUrSV5.

Have you tried checking if your old saw really is dead? Some of those motors have a reset button that might help. I know yours has been through a lot, but if you’ve already reset it with no luck, then it sounds like it’s time for a new one!

That sounds like a solid contractor saw! The rust you see is probably just superficial, so it shouldn't be too big of a deal. Definitely use it to negotiate a better price, but $300 sounds pretty fair for that model. Just make sure to check the overall condition when you see it in person!
