Looking for a Privacy Window Film That Lets in Light

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a window film for my bedroom since it directly faces my neighbor's living room. I want to keep my privacy without blocking all the sunlight. Are there any brands or types that work well for this? I found the Artscape etched glass window film and it looks like it might do the trick, but I'm unsure if it's effective. Any recommendations?

Most window films are designed to let in some light, which is what makes them popular. If you choose a film with a mirror finish, it can maintain privacy during the day, but keep in mind that when it's dark outside and your lights are on, people might still see in. Avoid the blackout films since they'll block all light. Just go for something that looks nice to you!

Thanks for the heads-up! I was about to buy a blackout one, but I need some light coming in.

The Artscape etched glass film could definitely work for you! It gives that nice frosted look while allowing natural light to shine through, which means your neighbor won't be able to peek into your room. It's a great balance of privacy and brightness!

You'll find plenty of options at Home Depot! They have a good selection of window films, and you can actually check them out in person to see how they look. That way, you can find the perfect one for your window without guessing.
