Hey everyone! I'm trying to power some tools occasionally using my golf cart, which has a 48V LiFePo4 battery pack. I'm on the hunt for a reliable inverter that can deliver 2000W at 120V, preferably on the budget side. I found a super cheap one for $110, but I've got my doubts about its quality. And then there's a 4000W option for only $106 that makes me even more skeptical. Should I trust these? Also, I currently have a 12V 2000W inverter—do you think it makes more sense to use a buck converter instead?

I've checked out SWI Power inverters and they seem pretty solid. They often provide honest power ratings, so you might not get a nasty surprise with their specs. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for reliability.
I've done some digging and it turns out a lot of those cheap China-made inverters will work, but they tend to exaggerate their power output. A 2000W model might realistically only give you about half that, so for something that actually delivers, you might need to spend around $209. Just keep in mind, buying cheap inverters is a gamble—quality can vary a lot!
If you're looking for something slightly pricier but reliable, the EG4 3000 might be a good choice. It's available for about $700 on SS, but it’ll have more capacity and last longer under continuous use, which could save you money in the long run.
