I'm trying to find a supplier that can provide a custom silicone rubber membrane to replace the mushy buttons on my rare Sega Saturn controller, the Sbom Joycard. Ideally, I want something firmer or more clicky. I could search online, but I'd prefer getting recommendations from people who have had firsthand experience with this kind of product. You might want to look into 3D printing options! If you have access to a resin printer, you could create an exact replica of the membrane. Just keep in mind that resin prints typically turn out hard rather than flexible like silicone, so make sure you're looking for a compatible material if you go this route.
Yeah, I thought about that too, but silicone rubber is pretty different from resin. Just wanted to make sure we stick to materials that would actually feel right.
