Looking for a Yearly Gardening Guide: Weekly Tasks and Tips?

Hey fellow gardeners! I'm on the hunt for a simple yet comprehensive guide that details what tasks a self-sufficient gardener should be doing each week throughout the year. I know that gardening chores can vary depending on your climate zone, but I'm hoping to find a standard structure that I can adapt to my own needs. I'm looking for something that goes beyond just planting and harvesting times. Ideally, I want a guide that outlines everything like composting, pruning, soil checks, and sowing schedules from January to December. It would help a ton to see how others have streamlined their workflows to make the most out of their growing seasons without stressing over missed tasks. If you've found anything like a weekly diary of gardening chores or tasks that cover different crops and essentials, please share! Thanks in advance for your help!

Remember, what works for one gardener may not for another. For example, I always start my sweet peas on Boxing Day, and it works great for me! I’d recommend looking into Sarah Raven’s "A Year Full of Veg" as well, but just keep in mind it leans more towards ornamental gardening rather than pure productivity.

Also, don't miss checking out Gardeners World for Monty's weekend tasks. It’s very timely and informative—definitely a good resource to stay on top of your gardening game.

You might want to check out the RHS book "Gardening Through the Year." It’s been pretty useful for me, especially as a beginner, although it might not have every single detail you’re looking for. Still, it gives a good overview!
