Hey everyone! I'm thinking about getting a laser engraver to personalize some wood projects for Etsy. My budget is around $500, and I'm leaning towards the Atomstack A20. I'm mainly interested in engraving, but I'd also like to use it for cutting templates, especially since I've been making templates out of MDF with my scroll saw. I'd love to hear any insights about the Atomstack A20 or suggestions for a different model if you think there's something better out there!

If the work area of 15"x14" is big enough for your needs, then the Atomstack A20 sounds like a solid choice! It's one of the cheapest lasers out there, so you might find it great for getting started.
