I'm specifically looking at Dewalt and Milwaukee, and I already have batteries for both brands. I'm not considering gas options, so keep that in mind. I've looked into the Dewalt snow blower which seems decent for my needs in Utah, particularly for managing my driveway. However, I'm a bit concerned about the mower since the Milwaukee seems to have had better reviews while the new Dewalt RWD Flexvolt mower has had mixed feedback. I've compared the Dewalt 777 blower with Milwaukee's dual-battery version, and honestly, I found them pretty comparable. But if performance is similar, I'd prefer to go with Dewalt. I've been using the Dewalt snow blower, and I can say it works really well! It has a metal auger that throws snow effectively and handles the stubborn piles the city plow leaves behind. Just keep in mind, you might have to chip away at the packed snow a little before using it. I've used it on my four-car driveway and sidewalks, and the battery lasts long enough for that! I've heard the Milwaukee blower might have a rubber auger, which could clear to pavement but may struggle with tough snow. Overall, Dewalt is a solid choice for snow clearing!
