Looking for Advice on Importing Cacti from Thailand

Hey everyone! I'm the owner of a nursery, and we're excited to have recently gotten our permit to import various cactus species from Thailand. I'm particularly interested in gymnos and moon cacti. I've reached out to a few suppliers, but I'm not getting any responses, and I'm beginning to suspect that some of them might not be trustworthy. Could anyone share their experiences or recommend reliable vendors? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You might want to consider sourcing from a US-based vendor instead! It could save you a lot of money and hassle. Alternatively, if you can get a propagator's license, you could just grow them yourself. Importing plants can be tricky and expensive, especially when dealing with freight forwarders. Although customs for plant materials might be a bit easier under the current regulations!

Thanks for the tip! I'm considering that option. What about sending through DHL instead of a freight forwarder?

Yeah, I've heard DHL can be a good choice. They ship to Miami or Chicago, and you can pick them up from there once they clear customs. Just make sure you have your phytosanitary certificates ready!
