I'm planning to replace my 3' x 5' basement door because the old one is partially rotted. It was homemade and crafted from wood, but I want my new door to be stronger against water and dirt exposure. I'm considering using pressure-treated wood for the new door, but I'm also eyeing some pine boards I found online. Does anyone have suggestions on whether pressure-treated wood will hold up, or is there something better I should consider? Here's the link to the pine boards I'm looking at: https://www.homedepot.com/p/WeatherShield-5-4-in-x-6-in-x-8-ft-Ground-Contact-Pressure-Treated-Premium-Southern-Yellow-Pine-Decking-Board-253944/206967715

Before you start, is the door going to be indoors or outdoors? That affects what materials will work best!
Those pine boards might get pretty wet and will likely have some movement as they dry. Have you looked into kiln-dried after-treating (KDAT) deck boards? Additionally, I'd recommend considering PVC boards. It's more of an investment, but they're super durable and you won't have to worry about replacing it anytime soon.
I hadn't thought about PVC. That sounds like a great option! Thanks for the heads up.

It’ll be an outdoor door, serving as a side entry into the basement.
