I'm planning to build a cabinet and I want to use brass knife hinges. I've heard a lot about Brusso hinges, but they're pretty expensive—over $50 a pair! I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for quality hinges that won't break the bank. Any recommendations? Thanks!

You might want to check out Lee Valley; they have their own version of knife hinges that are a bit cheaper than Brusso. I’ve got some sitting on my bench waiting for installation, and I think they’re decent quality. Just keep in mind that while expensive hinges can hurt your wallet, they often perform way better in the long run. It’s an investment!
I was trying to find those Brusso hinges on their site too, but got stuck on a pop-up asking for my email for some free box plans. It was so annoying! Anyone else have that issue?

Totally agree! They usually fit and operate well, and then you end up paying more for the hardware than the wood itself!
