Looking for Affordable Countertops for a Desk in the USA

Hey everyone! I recently bought a really inexpensive countertop in Spain that was 150cm x 80cm, and it worked perfectly with a couple of IKEA drawers. I'm on the hunt for something similar here in the USA—specifically at Lowe's or Home Depot—within the $30 to $50 range. Has anyone found good options or alternatives?

Home Depot and Lowe's do sell some countertop sections that are around 5-6 feet, but just a heads up—they're usually over $100. Might be a little outside your budget!

Try looking at a Habitat for Humanity ReStore; you might find a cut-off or a slightly damaged countertop for a good deal. If that’s not available, salvage stores can also have some great options. I grabbed some butcher block there for about $60-70!

Or you might want to find an old dining table or some other piece of furniture you can repurpose into a desk! Just a thought.

Have you checked IKEA? They have stores in the US. Also, consider using a hollow core door as a desk; they can be found at Lowe's or Home Depot, and should fit your budget just right!
