Looking for Apps to Help Monitor Plant Watering Needs?

I'm on the hunt for any apps that leverage smartphone cameras to identify indoor plants and assess their current health, specifically whether they need watering or fertilization. Have you come across any that really work?

Honestly, any app that claims it can accurately determine your plant's needs is probably not trustworthy. There are so many apps out there that are just scams to take your money. Every plant reacts differently to watering and nutrients, and sometimes the signs can overlap. Yellowing leaves could mean a lot of things, from under or overwatering to nutrient deficiencies. Instead, I recommend snapping some pics and asking for advice from experienced folks on platforms like Reddit or even your local nursery. You'll get the hang of it eventually, trust me!

For a more hands-on approach, soil test kits can be really valuable. They can measure moisture levels and give you a rough idea of your plant's nutrient levels, giving you some insight into its overall health.

I've been using the Planta app and it's seriously helped me keep my plants thriving! I follow its watering and fertilizing schedule and so far, it's been spot on. Give it a try if you're looking for something to help you out!
