Hey everyone! I'm in the market for two new tools: a bandsaw now and a new table saw next year. Currently, I have a 10" Rikon bandsaw and want to upgrade to a 14" 110v model. I'm considering Jet, Rikon, or Laguna's 14bx. Last year, I had a deal with Laguna for a 25% discount but couldn't complete the purchase due to an unexpected HVAC repair. I've yet to hear back from them, and I'm worried about missing Rikon's sale while I wait. Rikon seems to be getting better reviews than Jet and is the most affordable option. For the table saw, I have a Laguna F1 and really like it, but I'm looking for something with a 36" fence and a little nicer overall. I'm eyeing either a Laguna F2 or one of the cheaper Harvey Alpha models with a cast iron top. Would love to hear your recommendations or thoughts on these options!

I’ve got a Laguna 1412 and it's been awesome for me! It took a little while to get everything set up just right, but it’s been rock solid ever since. Definitely check it out if you’re leaning towards Laguna.
I’d suggest taking a moment to consider switching to a 220v setup. Having 110v can really limit the power of your machines. If you're moving up to a bigger bandsaw, make sure it’s more powerful too! For the bandsaw, look into the 14|bx in 220v, which ups the power from 1.75 to 2.5 hp. The Harvey Ambassador C14 is another great option at 3hp. They often run sales, so you could snag one for a good price. Trust me, when you start resawing hardwoods, you'll appreciate that extra power! So if a 220v system is a possibility, that might be worth waiting for.
I’ve heard great things about Rikon too! They seem to offer good value for money and the reviews speak for themselves. If you’re able to get one on sale, it could be a good time to make the jump.
