I'm on the hunt for affordable grow lights that won't break the bank. I can't spend over $30 per light or plant right now, but I really want to support my struggling plants during the winter months. I've been browsing Amazon, but I'm concerned about running into gimmicky products. Can anyone recommend some good-value grow lights that actually work?

I have four of those Amazon 3-head clip-on lights. They were around $18 each. They’re okay, but keep in mind that they’re not super powerful. If you're replacing natural sunlight, you'll need to place them about 6 inches away. For plants that need a little extra light in decent conditions, these work well as a supplement.
I've been using Barrina T5 grow lights, and they're performing really well for me! Definitely worth considering if you're looking for something effective on a budget.
Forget the ones labeled specifically as 'grow lights' - those come with a hefty markup for no good reason. Instead, look for regular LED lights in the 2000-3000 lumen range. The intensity of bright white light is what really counts, and some of those branded grow lights might not even deliver a good color balance. If you can, just get LED tubes and mount them on your wall for simplicity, unless you're super worried about decor.
I did this, and it's been a game changer for my setup!

That’s a smart tip! Thanks for the suggestion!
