I'm on the hunt for some affordable yet aesthetically pleasing materials to use for covering the underhang of my porch roofing. Ideally, I'd like something that's easy to install since I plan to do it myself. Just to give you some context, my house was power washed last year, but only part of the underhang got cleaned up. I've attached a picture here for reference.

Also, if you're feeling adventurous, you could try out some faux wood panels. They can give off a nice cozy vibe and are pretty simple to work with. Plus, they usually come in a variety of colors!
You might want to consider using vinyl beadboard or even plywood with a good paint job. Both options look nice and won't break the bank. Vinyl is especially low-maintenance and great for DIY projects!
