Hi everyone! I'm in need of some suggestions for kneeling pads or any equipment that can help ease my gardening sessions. I have multiple disabilities and weigh around 250lbs, so I'm looking for something that's not just comfortable but also durable. I tried using some knee pads meant for cleaning, but the hard shell makes them uncomfortable for moving around. I'm considering assisted kneelers since they would help me get up easily due to my dizziness issues. However, most kneelers I've found seem narrow and the padding looks quite thin and not long-lasting. I'm open to any kind of product, whether it's knee pads, kneeling benches, or even options from physiotherapy that might help. I really need something reliable that will hold up through more than one gardening season, especially since I've recently had a mishap with mulching and need to get back to work soon! Thanks for any recommendations or personal experiences you can share!

I've recently found that dog beds work great as gardening pads! We have a slightly small one from Costco, and during my marathon planting sessions, it really saved my knees. Just remember to let it dry outside after using it and don't leave it out in the rain. The three inches of quality cushioning makes a huge difference!
Consider checking out places like Grainger or U-Line, which supply gear for construction workers. They tend to have sturdier options designed for larger people who expect durability. It might be a better choice than standard garden supplies.
You might want to check this out: it's a rolling work seat with a tool tray. It has over 1,300 reviews and a 94% approval rating! [Link to product](https://www.harborfreight.com/rolling-work-seat-with-tool-tray-91495.html)
That looks interesting! I'm concerned about how reachable it would be while sitting, though. I have long arms, but I carry most of my weight forward, which might make it tricky.

Do you think I can shop at Grainger without a business license? There’s one nearby, and I assumed it was just for businesses.
