Hey everyone! I've been taking care of cacti for a while now, and I'm eager to start growing some succulents since my partner wants to gift me a few. Unfortunately, I've noticed that I'm not the best succulent parent—I tend to kill them. The issue is that my partner often buys these beautiful containers without drainage, which seems problematic. I've read that drainage is super important for their health. I love aesthetics, so I'm hoping to find some suggestions for pretty pots that actually have drainage. Thanks in advance!

Check out thrift shops or yard sales! They often have unique pots, and you can get ones with holes or drill them yourself if needed. I’ve found some amazing succulent pot sets on Amazon as well, and if you have Prime, you'll get free shipping—which is a bonus!
I’ve actually had success growing succulents in pots without drainage. I just water lightly enough to keep the soil moist but not soggy, and making sure I use well-draining soil and provide plenty of light seems to help. It's a risk, but it worked for me!
You can totally drill drainage holes into almost any pot! Just submerge it in water and drill slowly to avoid any cracking. I’ve used bonsai pots for my succulents, and they look great while providing good drainage too!
