Looking for Deals on a 7-1/4″ Circular Saw (20V)

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a good deal on a 7-1/4" circular saw that runs on 20V. I know a lot of folks rave about the 60V, but those saws are pricier and I don't have any 60V batteries to go with them. I'm trying to keep my expenses low. Just to give you some context, I'm currently using a 4-1/2" saw, so upgrading to 7-1/4" would be a significant boost in cutting capability.

Recently, I managed to snag the DCS391B 6-1/2" for $50 thanks to a Home Depot battery bundle return, but I'm open to spending a bit more since I can share blades with my 7-1/4" miter saw. However, I don't want to break the bank with options over $150! Any recommendations?

When considering blades for a sliding miter saw, keep in mind that they often use a lower or negative hook angle, while most circular saw blades have a higher hook angle to make cuts easier. I personally have both a 7-1/4" circular saw and a sliding miter saw, and I can tell you they use different blades despite being the same diameter. Just a heads up!

Thanks for the tip! I’m using the Dewalt 20V sliding miter saw, so this info is super helpful. I tried to follow the manual's guidelines about hook angles and RPM, but I didn’t realize circular saws could differ so much in blade requirements. I guess I might just stick with my 6-1/2" for now!
