Hey folks! I'm in the market for a string trimmer and I'm especially looking for any deals on trimmers, blowers, or combo kits. I have some 20-volt batteries that I want to use, so if you've spotted any good offers lately, I'd love to hear about them!

I got the 20V trimmer and blower combo with a 5Ah XR battery for $249. I've used it a few times and I'm pretty happy with it. My yard isn't huge, but it does a decent job. Just remember, it does eat through batteries faster than I'd like, so just be prepared for that.
Check out Home Depot! They've got a deal where if you buy the 60V trimmer and blower, you get an extra 9AH flexvolt battery for free. I snagged both, and scored about $450 worth of batteries at no extra cost! Plus, those 60V batteries work with 20V tools too, which is a nice bonus.
Honestly, I’d steer clear of the 20V string trimmer. They don’t get the best reviews for quality. I had one that broke down in just 15 minutes, and it seems a lot of users report similar issues related to dirt getting into the motor. The 60V options seem to perform better, and there’s a current deal for a free battery with it.
I still prefer gas trimmers. They last longer and are more powerful. I think electric will improve, but for now, gas is the way to go.
I can only find that deal for the blower, not the trimmer. Maybe it's a regional thing?
