Looking for Houseplants That Won’t Bloom – Any Recommendations?

Hey everyone! 😊 I'm really into houseplants, but both my boyfriend and I have allergies that flare up when our plants start blooming. I'm hoping to find some houseplants that don't flower at all, or at least very rarely flower. Any suggestions or recommendations would be super helpful!

Out of my collection of over 150 plants, only a tiny handful have ever bloomed because I don't give them the ideal conditions for it. I’d suggest staying away from Hoyas since they're more likely to flower. For other plants, like most Araceae, we just cut off the flowers when they appear.

Most popular indoor plants hardly ever bloom, especially if you keep them indoors! Some great options include Pothos, Dracaena Marginata, philodendron micans, and Swiss Cheese Vine. They've been easy to care for and have never bloomed for me!

That's a great tip! You can also buy plants that do bloom but just prune the flowers when they're still buds.

Thanks for the recommendations!
