Hey everyone! I'm trying to create a removable worktop for my Packout using a 3/4" plywood top that's a perfect fit. I've seen some folks using double-sided tape and others using pre-made or 3D-printed feet, but I really want a solution with a proper latch mechanism similar to the one that Milwaukee offers. Has anyone come across a product or a DIY workaround that includes a latch for attaching and removing the worktop? By the way, I have a 3D printer and I'm somewhat handy, so I'm open to various ideas.

I tackled a similar project using Packout cleats from Amazon, but I didn't include a latch. My worktop just stays put with friction. It's working fine for now, but I know a latch would be more secure.
Check out this modified design that you can adapt to your needs! Here's the link: [thingiverse.com/thing:6737442](http://thingiverse.com/thing:6737442). It might give you the latch mechanism you’re looking for!
Brilliant, thanks!

If you've got a 3D printer, making a latch should only cost about 50 cents worth of filament!
